Bala, known for reimagining dated workout equipment into sleek, design-forward essentials, partnered with Lustre to evolve its brand as it transitioned from a buzzy DTC startup into a broader lifestyle and wellness company. While Bala retained its recognizable logo, we built a comprehensive visual system around it including a refreshed color palette, updated typography, iconography, and a visual language that was scalable across multiple products and channels. The goal was to retain Bala’s playful spirit while supporting its evolution into new categories and retail channels without losing visual cohesion.
Our team led the redesign of Bala’s Shopify website, creating a more immersive and editorial shopping experience that showcased both product and brand storytelling. The interface was designed to feel airy and confident, with strong typographic styling, layered layouts, and lifestyle photography that balanced movement with stillness. Custom iconography and elevated content modules helped communicate product benefits and reinforce Bala’s unique tone. The result is a brand presence that feels as sculpted and forward-thinking as the products themselves—positioning Bala for continued growth and category leadership.
